Dean has been practicing using his big-boy potty lately (sometimes) and even went pee pee in it already. Every time he sits down he wants his teddy to join him - it's so cute! He is only 17 months old so we don't actually think he will be potty trained until he's 2, but he does tell us "poop" and "toot" when he (you guessed it) poops and toots. It's the first step that he notices it...or does he merely notice that he smells? Haha.

Boys Go In Groups Too!

That is so sweet! Soon you will have to get a potty just so the teddy bear can use it...do you ever pretend that the teddy needs to go potty and put it on the potty and show Dean? Cute cute cute!
LOL that he wants to hold his teddy while he goes. You are much farther ahead on this one than we are. Chandler could care less if he has poop in his pants so we will not try potty training until he shows at least a little bit of interest. (which at this rate, he will be 3, lol) I've already resigned myself that I will probably have 2 in diapers for a year :( WTG Dean - I bet he will learn fast!
