Eli is so sweet. He is a wonderful big brother and always concerns himself so with Ava's pacifier. If she has it in her mouth, he decides it should be repositioned. So he repositions it for her. And anytime it's not in her mouth, whether she wants it or not, he tries his hardest to get it back in there. However, sometimes he puts it in backward and it falls out. So he tries again. And sometimes she presses her lips tight together so he can't get it in at all. So he tries again. And, as in these pictures, sometimes Ava opens her little mouth, ever so willing to help him in his efforts, but they just can't seem to coordinate well enough to get it to stay.

So he tries again. And again.

This little guy is persistent. Luckily, it stems from love. He sure adores his little sister and I sure adore him. He's so squishy and snuggly. These photos make me want to go wake him up and cuddle. But I won't because I really enjoy a sleeping baby.
