The Rodeo to Houston is like the Puyallup Fair to Washington. It's a big deal. It's pretty similar in many ways but we're a little more "southern" than the good ol' northwest. We are yet to venture to the actual rodeo shows but we love the fair food (this is true southern fair food so everything's deep fried - yum!), animals, and fair rides.
Every school in Texas has "rodeo days" when the rodeo comes to town where the students dress like cowboys and cowgirls. Even Dean's preschool participated and he LOVED it!! I am determined to find him some cowboy boots now.
