We spent our Thanksgiving at this adorable lake cabin this year. It was a wonderfully beautiful getaway, not to mention, the boys couldn't get enough of the wildlife and the outdoors. Who knew they were so amused by rocks? (Check out their rock castle - white flag included.) Anyway, it was a great weekend spent with Devin's parents. We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for our family and friends, near and far. We have been blessed with such wonderful people in our lives. We're thankful for our own little family, too. What a joy our kiddos are - wink - even when they're not. We're thankful for Devin's job. We're thankful for our health. We're thankful for our country and our home. We're thankful for all the beautiful things in life that we get to experience; whether a magical sunset peering over the water, or an act of kindness from a perfect stranger. Above all, we're thankful for our Savior because, after all, he is the reason for all our many blessings in life. "He is the reason for the Season." Always a good reminder of what this time of year is truly about.
I hope everyone had a great holiday with lots to be thankful for!
